Marketing Assistant by Day....Parking Nazi, Also by Day!

So I played a joke on this guy today. Actually, it wasn't a joke I was ANNOYED because he keeps parking in our lot (so he can go to institute).Seriously, annoying! Especially since my co-worker talked to him a week ago and told him he can't park here because it's service parking only. So anyway, he kept parking here. We have called parking services to come and ticket him MULTIPLE times and they NEVER COME and if they do they come 3 hours after we call and by then the perpetrators have left!!

So today I took matters into my own hands. I parked behind him, therefore keeping him from leaving. I watched out the window as he walked up the hill to get in to his car. Seriously, the look on his face was PRICELESS. So he wanders around his car a few times (don't ask me why) maybe hoping my car would magically disappear. So he finally walks in the building and talks to the receptionist downstairs. The receptionist told him it was "Jennifer's car" and that I worked on the top floor.

I was in Louis office on the middle floor watching the whole ordeal trying not to laugh because I didn't want him to hear me. I hear him wandering around and whistling....SO FUNNY. So I hear him go upstairs and then come down. He wanders around a little more and then finds Louis's office. He comes in and says "Hey, do you know where Jennifer is, I need her to move her car." Louis and I were apparently very intimidating because he was acting really nervous. I then told him that I was Jennifer and that I was leaving in just a couple minutes and that I would move my car. He was SUPER FRIENDLY (you know the fake, friendly nervous) and was like "cool beans, just whenever you move it would it be great." Louis then informed him that he couldn't park in a service parking spot without a permit. The dumb kid was like "OH REALLY, I didn't know that, there are not any signs....I am really sorry, blah blah blah." Louis then said, "Didn't I talk to you last week and tell you about that." The kid said "Oh yeah, yeah, that was you."

I was in the office TRYING not to bust out laughing because this kid is obviously SO INTIMIDATED and I was worried he was going to pee his pants. So I go out and put some stuff in my car and then say "shoot, I forgot to get something." The kid said, "no worries, no rush we aren't in a hurry just whenever you can move." (Seriously imagine this kid talking the same way a nervous 16-year old boy trying to ask a REALLY intimidating guy permission to take his daughter out). So I go back and get the evaluation forms that I have to take to this class tonight. I go to get the forms and the lady I am getting the forms from tells me that I have to copy them before I take them

(all the while the dork is hanging out in his car waiting for me to move). I started feeling a little guilty, but not really, and moved my car for him. Ha ha ha ha! Seriously, it was so funny. We weren't rude or confrontational at all, we just played dumb like my car just was accidently in the way because I was loading it up. I just hate that we NICELY talked to him last week and told him he can't park here or he will be ticketed, and then parking services DOESN'T back us up. So I fixed it myself. I doubt he will park here again. Ha ha ha ha!!!
