Richard and I dressed up for Halloween. For those of you that know Richard you know how much he loves Halloween...he is practically like a four year old. You know the kind well - they like to sleep in their costume the night before halloween because they are so excited. Okay.....I am KIDDING! I had to bribe Richard to wear a halloween costume this year. We were asked to help with the ward party and were assigned to call and remind the ward about the activity. Well, I had to make more calls than Richard - otherwise he said he wouldn't dress up. Not only did I make calls, BUT I left messages. So lucky me, I had a handsome Tiger date for the ward party. Richard's very talented mother (my mother-in-law) made matching Tiger suits and was nice enough to send them to us. We were fortunate to be accompanied by "Monte the Tiger Tamer." We even sat in the back of Ben's little SUV for the ward trunk or treat. We sat behind a home made cage. I am so grateful that I was not made for the zoo - seriously I felt so self conscious the whole time =). Thank goodness I was made to be a spectator not a spectatee!!!!
Anyway, thanks Richard for being a good support and dressing up! I kind of do like Halloween. Mostly, because it means Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming.
P.S. Thanks for ALL the wonderful comments left on my last post! I was very touched by the VERY kind comments left about me. I am doing MUCH MUCH MUCH better this week!
