Organization

I wasn't sure what to title this post! But, this big news in our life is that I quit my job at BYUI and I am going to be working from home. I am SUPER SUPER SUPER excited about this for several reasons. First of all, I loved working at BYUI for 20-hours a week, but the problem is, I was gone for more like 30, which is WAY too much. The commute was killing me. I was gone way more than I liked from Saydee, and even though she was in good hands with Richard, I need to be a mom. Last week I got an email from on company that provides remote work for deaf and hard of hearing students. At any rate, I had applied to work for them over a year ago and never heard anything back. I got an email this last week asking if I wanted to work for them. I get paid more than I do working for BYUI. I work about 16 hours a week and I work from home, which means there are only 16 hours that Rich has to watch her. The even better part is that some of those hours take place before Saydee even wakes up and when is she is napping. I LOVE this work from home gig. PLUS I am saving $100 in gas because I don't have to drive to Rexburg. I love BYUI and will miss the great people I worked with, I just have learned that a daily commute of 1.5 hours is not for me.
