Home Sweet Apartment

Okay, so I hesitate to even post these picture because my Apartment is NOT decorated up to par. BUT, seeing as I am keeping myself on a teeny tiny budget, and the fact that we will be moving shortly, I didn't see any sense in spending any moola to decorate. I know this probably makes me seem a little shallow, but lets be honest...I LOVE to decorate homes (my favorite form of being artsy fartsy) and I am fully aware mine is not up to snuff. However, I have humbled myself enough to show a few pictures of our very first apartment together. Awwwwwwww, how cute =)

We have a tiny little 1 bedroom apartment in the ghetto of Provo. The highlights of living here would be:
1. The neighbor lady who SCREAMS at her kids
2. The noisy neighbors below us who are bats (they think it is day time when it is really nigh time.
3. The man who lives adjacent to the apartment below us. He got really sick and couldn't get up off the couch EVEN to relieve himself. Yeah...we were wondering what that NASTY (and I mean NASTY) smell was.

BUT, I do love being married and it is MUCH better sharing an apartment with somebody than living all by my lonesome dove. I also love the fact that our rent is only $480 a month and that we get free cable.

P.S. HOLY COW IT IS WINDY outside!!!! I am afraid the house I am working in is going to blow over. This reminds me of the time when I was in Idaho Falls and it was so windy that the basketball hoop fall on my car. NOT to worry, it dented BOTH sides of my car. The pole hit one side and the hoop hit the other. THANK goodness for insurance.

I think it is a cute apartment. I loved every moment of the poor beginnings of marriage. Ryan and I lived in an apartment over a mortuary. We would vacuum after viewing for free rent. It really was weird at the time, but a really good get to know ya conversation piece. Where are you guys moving to? Gotta keep tabs on the cousins!!!

You will be so happy to have those pictures! I look back at our first apartment with such affection! I think you did a great job...it's hard decorating apartments anyway because you can't do everything you want to (paint/paper/construction, etc.)

One thing I can tell is that you are super-duper clean...I love it!
